Motobatt vs Westco vs Enduroline batteries

bought the Enduroline battery for a Zane 750 as it was the same one in there. Then Im told it struggles to turn the motor over.
I will be changing leads to heavier duty ones and possibly looking into the 4 brush option or at least a new brush plate but, regarding the battery.
the Enduroline is only 100CCA, the Westco 51913 is £116 and 275CCA, the Motobatt MB51814 is £84 +p&p and 220CCA.

anyone had experience of the Motobatt in a Laverda? I put one in a Harley while rewiring and its died through lack of use.
 
100CCA if correct is insufficient to crank a Laverda. I've no experience of Zane machines other than everyone says the starter motor struggles to turn 'em over, so I'd go for as many CCA as you can fit in the space! Motobatt is said to work fine on triples - a quick search will show many happy users.
 
thanks Rob, Im looking at the higher CCA turning the motor quicker then that would take the strain off the brushes and overheating wires.
Normally, you keep pressing the button until it starts, with that extra oomph it should turn easier and quicker
 
I've had quite bit of trouble with enduroline recently. Dying for no good reason. Suspect 'genreic Chinese battery' and the dpec/quality that goes with that.
 
You definitely don’t want to be holding the starter button for any longer than a few seconds on a Zane unless you want something dire to happen. I have used Motobatt on several of mine with mixed success. Odyssey batteries are considered to be a better option. Certainly worked well for me.
 
Motobatt has been good for me for years, but I keep them topped up with use or a good quality charger.
Although I haven’t worn out enough of them to provide a representative sample 😉
