MotoGadget M-Unit Blue light config

hi out there
The M-Unit has some usefully - but also annoying - ways of configuration the light - low beam - high beam - driving light etc
I am a bit in doubt about what fits best. I am using the original "suzuki" buttoms so this switch on and off of the light is a bit different of how it is intended - by MotoGadget. I think it is annoying that i cannot switch-off the light when i "switch it off" - or maybe is it just me being confused about that i cannot switch off the light.
Which options for the light has been used to get a satisfying result ?

If you want to be able to switch the headlight off, you can get around the M-Unit's refusal to let you do that with some additional wiring and a couple of relays (or one DPDT relay). I designed a wiring diagram for another forum member a few years ago that solved the same issue on his 180° triple. I may have put it in the Library section. Yes, here it is: https://laverdaforum.com/resources/wiring-diagram-with-motogadget-m-unit.112/

Hi again
Thanks for sharing - do you know which config he used for the M-Unit ? I have the version with BT so the configuration is a bit simpler but as far as i know the menu's are the same

Hi tiwang. I only designed the wiring system. I didn't do the installation because the bike was on the other side of the world, about as far away from me as you can get without leaving the planet. So I didn't get into any of the M-Unit configuration stuff. I left that to the bike's owner. The documentation he sent me for the M-Unit was Version 1.8 if that's any help.
