Welllllll,
CLQ has once again made our pilgrimage to the wilds of Mt Perry, now famous for its new pool champions (Take a Bow boys), not that i saw much of it due to the intense effects of the Biggenden seafood chowder and rapid pace ales, still at least my insides were clean and purged come Sunday morn.
To be clear, i have no photos, which is mostly to do with being crap at getting round to taking them and secondly to do with being totally crap at actually getting round to taking them, with fortune others will upload suitable images to reflect the fun and frivolities that ensued.
I believe that Levo will be undertaking the run report duties so will not go into too much detail, broadly the run out the Mt Perry encompasses a journey of approximately 600km, give or take the odd - 'where the flogg did Horn'y go' - is he alive, can he still feel or did the goose decide to go to Conondale because he brought it up in conversation and no one said - 'no Bryan you are not going to Conondale, you are going to Kenilworth'. 'We' decided to apply a time penalty to those involved in his (Mr Horn) retrieval, to draw a line under his navigational transgression, which at the time felt like a reasonable mechanism to obtain an hours worth of free beers, I did re-evaluate the relative merits of this decision at 8pm as i was hurling my guts up again.
The roads to Mt P are many and varied, with the destination being but part of the journey, the combination of high speed and downhill slalom dirt and open range road blasting, often proves to be a test on machine and pilot - that and the fatigue associated with rocking out with CLQ (A Drinking Club With a Motorcycle Problem) - which i think i may have touched on earlier. There was a good turn out of Laverda's (6) with a single Jappa, a Duke hybrid and some Pommy slut thing - that didn't make it home: Issues were minimal - lost key (2min hot wire), fractured main fuse (2min delay in getting a beer) & 1st no longer associating with second, but second still maintaining strong relations with 3rd, 4th and 5th.
With fortune someone sticks some pics up and Levo cranks out the run report.
