Very sad to sell .. hip problems .. cannot ride .. 1983 . Black . HUGE amount of time / monies spent.
Wheels re laqued New coils and engine block rebored / lined to match original . Head reworked . Carbs are Keith Nairns Mikunis which transformed the bike . New Spagg clutch . New stater motor . Petrol tank completely reworked / resprayed and shaped to original shape . Clock are new .. I have the original for spares. Seat is reworked / bum stop new . Seat rear hump resrayed . Horns now PIAA

In short it looks not far off new and one best of all at our Dartmoor Runs by the Exeter Mayor

The exhaust ( new ) fashioned on the JOTA but with much thicker metal .. much more subdued but still sounds great .
Just got it on the 'Historical ' DVLA class .
Asking just £6500 as it has to go .

Nice RGS , a lot of care, careful work and money put into it.....I can understand your predicament do I keep it or not....but if riding it is iffy, then a hard decision like yours comes, I'm not far off that myself.

A fine bike for someone, it's a crying shame that resale values are where they are, very best of good luck selling...I believe good bikes will always sell.

Agree on all points. This appears a really well-sorted bike & a rare opportunity for a younger rider to buy a fantastic motorcycle from a seasoned owner. Upgrades exceed asking-should be a quick sale w/ a bit of promotion- have you posted on F-book?

Yes, super nice RGS Corsa, I have owned one myself, it was sold to a friend in Australia. Re: selling our older Laverda, yes, it is not the easiest thing, I can see here in Denmark everything has gone to a standstill when it comes to selling classic motorcycles. But I had a good experience here 2 weeks ago, I am selling a Honda CBR 1000 rr Fireblade, year 2005, only driven 850 km, when I put a sales ad up on FB, my mobile phone went "fire", and it was sold in about 4 hours

There is a far larger market group of riders who had their major riding experience 20 years ago on the uber-sports bike of the time than those who had it on specialist Italian models twice as long ago.
