Ah but Alan has the part so he wins. I did think it could be printed fairly easily but I would imagine are so many smashed clocks laying around that it is easier to cannibalise what already exists. The early clocks seem to be completely different although they look the same, I have some in bits in a box here. I would imagine the little screws are JIS threads too.

Yep - super common sizes. I think I have spare clock parts lying around - but you;ve sourced from Alan and he's about 20,000km closer to you than me
