For anyone who is looking for quality work rebuilding instruments, I can highly recommend a guy based in California. He's done the speedo for my Laverda including the rim (obviously). As usual, the bike isn't here or I'd post that pic too.
Although not ND - which I think Kevin prefers working on - I've just received the Norton instruments below. They look just about perfect; what appears to be a scratch on the tach bezel at about 7 o'clock is a reflection of a plant I failed to notice while taking the photo.
Very reasonably priced for the quality of work to my way of thinking - depending on condition, about $450 for the pair, although perhaps not the fastest in the world. I asked him to leave the mileage as it was originally.
The guy prefers SMS/text messages to his mobile, but email works too: Motospeedo2010@gmail.com. PM me if you'd like his name & cel number as I don't like to post those details on a public forum.
ABSOLUTELY NO CONNECTION whatever - just a VERY satisfied client!
Alex
PS The back looks JUST as good as the front of each!
Oh yes, the first pic shows the original state of the bike...
