neutral light again.

Have power have good bulb,have newish switch  no light ideas anyone.

You are not in neutral...again.... sorry, couldn'resist :D :D

If you disconnect the switch, then connect a multimeter to the switch connection and earth, you should have continuity with neutral selected.  If not, try selecting away from neutral and back.  If still no continuity, either the switch is not being activated, possibly due to too many washers being fitted, or it is kaput.  Remove the switch and depress the plunger by hand with the multimeter still connected to confirm if it is the switch.

Remove the lead from the switch and hold it to ground with the ig. switched on, the bulb should light up.  If it doesn't, the wiring is at fault.
