Forgive my ignorance as I have little to no knowledge with Auto-electrics.
My neutral switch wire was severed when Wilfred's centre stand came off riding down Mt. Mee a while back.
The neutral light still illuminates when in neutral though the wire is flapping in the breeze.
can anyone explain?

...magic?

are you sure it was the neutral wire which on an RGS is in behind the sprocket cover
and not the temp sensor wire which on an RGS is under the engine where the neutral switch used to be on a proper Laverda engine, example, 180 engine  :D

I bet your temp gauge is not working, is it ?

ahhhhhh.

thanks Boss.
learn something new everyday.

How's life back in the oil fields?

oilfield life sucks, I can remember now why I retired, I believe I may have to retire again before the end of the year

could be worse.
could be back home buried under a pile of laverda engines, daylight to dark, seven days a week.

Just shows the demand is there for his good work.
Plus if he was there full time eventually the rebuild rate would level off.
Unless you Aussies buy even more Laverdas!  ;)
