Anybody out there changed handlebars on RGS1000 if so what make and procedure possible pics

There is an RGS on ebay right now with this conversion, you may be able to get info from the pics.

I cannot remember what brand, but I once broke the fixings on a clip-on while trying to stop it from moving. Some are made of cheese. This wasn't a stripped thread; the connection snapped in half.

The clip-ons on my RGA Sprint aren't tight enough to be safe for the road. It's still in the rebuild stage, and the clip-ons will need to be shimmed with the usual material; the ubiquitous drink can.

Look into torque specs; these days, finding replacements can be tough.
