New Media facility

As an early Easter present for you, I've enabled the Media plug-in for the forum 😎 This replaces the old Gallery facility which I know wasn't very easy to use, and also required a separate log in.

I've also copied across most of the photos from the old Gallery. Sadly some corruption of old forum names occurred when we recovered the website back in 2010 so I wouldn't pay any attention to the user details shown. It's a shame that a lot of the pics have no descriptive detail with them - something to bear in mind going forward 😉

I haven't had much time to explore things so let me know how you get on. Oh, and 'Media' means just that - video and audio clips are supported but please keep 'em brief.
 
It looks like there is a problem. On my iPad it shows the first sequence of photos for a few seconds, then begins flipping to a blank, then to a new sequence, then a blank, then back to the second sequence and this rapidly repeats. All very quickly, a second at most once it starts. This is with the newest iOS version 16.4.1 updated earlier today.
 
Thanks for pointing out that problem. I've disabled the looping which seems to have fixed the issue. The widget should still serve up a random selection for each visit / page refresh
