Huh, that photo was after 1500 miles of riding over a week. Looking at it now though I’m amazed how clean the bike looks myself.

I am interested in what metallics the factory used. Were they a Kandy like Honda had on the 750s and Kawasaki in the z900s?

For what it's worth, my metallic red tank is "plain" metallic red over white-ish (ivory?) primer. If I remember correctly the Kandy colours were translucent over a silver metallic base? My tank is not like that.
