Hello Laverdaforum members and thanks for letting me in!
I don’t own a Laverda, yet, but I’m cautiously looking for an ‘affordable’ Montjuic. I have recently been offered 2, most likely members here, but both being beyond my financial wherewithal.
I’ve been motorcycling since 1979 and still have 2 bikes in the garage.
Cheers,
Jon.

Hi Gerald, that would fit but no. I’ve never had a Suzuki but do have a modern version of the Z1000R. A ZRX1100. It’s just a pseudonym I use on many forums and it relates to a CBX1000 that used to run at Santa Pod in the early 80’s called Pops Yoshi. He’d just wheelie the whole 1/4 mile 😂 We loved him for that! Later I learned who Pops Yoshimura was 😉 and his career tuning big Kwaks and then Suzis.

I think that was the CBX that the guy used to rev up with a six into one without the silencer fitted...

currently there is an original Mk1 Monty for sale in Hastings, Sussex, by Cosmo Motorcyles (owner known as Cosmo) a bit faraway for you maybe, but this bike seems a good one, he brought it to the Sussex pub meet a few weeks ago for the Laverdistsi to ogle at, he is realistick on pricing, having had it up for sale when prices were sky high but he did not sell, now he has reduced the price dramatically, in lines with the current marketplace (he will lose on this one) take a look. If its out of your price range, you will be, either very lucky, or looking at a project.
There are people around who can help or even solve the logistical difficulties..
