Hello all ,
thank you for accepting me to the forum , and a quick introduction from me
My name is Steve and Iām from mid Lincolnshire . I was recommended to the forum from a Facebook group which I recently joined to try and gain a bit of insight into Laverdas.
I got my first bike on my tenth birthday (after 3 yrs of relentless badgering to my parentsā¦) that was 39 yrs and 124 bikes ago ! Yes I realise itās a lot
A good few have been ones I have searched out , but mostly they have been in need of repairs/tlc and just kinda found their way to me for a while before heading off to make room for the next one , I donāt watch much tv or go out very oftenā¦.
So at the age of 17 I met a guy from Sleaford who had the most beautiful looking and sounding bike Iād ever seen , Rog had a Jota ! Over the years I have thought one day I would love to own one , one day , and then the years seem to tick by and I kept thinking yep one day. Well next year Iāll be 50 , and this year whilst bouncing around on a tractor through harvest I decided that the time has come to have the thing that Iāve wanted for so long , and for no other reason than the pleasure of owning and riding it
I look forward to chatting on here and hopefully getting to one of the meets at some point soon , and hopefully finding myself a bike too !
