It’s a shame a bike like this can’t find a buyer but that seems to be the norm these days and if the Gulf War III doesn’t get resolved soon it could become even harder. 😕

Hi Andy. I think we have only seen the tip of the iceberg, here in Denmark all sales of classic motorcycles have come to a complete standstill, plus the younger men are not interested in motorcycles that are 40-50 years old, plus those of us who know the Laverda brand have become older men, the undersigned is 64 years old, and I am NOT going out and buying a motorcycle, but am spending the time selling my collection while I can, plus another thing is that the petrol prices here in Denmark have skyrocketed, I can't see who is going to buy all the Laverdas that are here in Denmark, about 120 - 130 pieces. Yes, these are new times

Yes, Peder, I agree with your observations. I was out riding on Friday on my 78 1200, and at 71 years old, I was the youngest rider present, and the fastest, haha. Once again, I was the odd man out on an 'old school,' vintage iron riding with two 76-year-olds and a 78yo all of them on modern Beemers (2009 R1200R, 2024 R9T, and another R9T).
That is an extremely nice RGS you are offering, and a very fair price. Good luck with your sale.

Don't worry; the price of scrap metal is rising.
