New Rotors

C
… very strange: “Spieglar” instead of “Spiegler” on the rotors??? Ciao, Gert
Nice catch, Gert! Chinese rip-off? 🤣

That's not meant as a negative. I once needed new rotors double quick, in desperation I ordered on Ali Express. Rotors arrived in 3 days, just in time for the Bikers Classics at Spa, fit and finish were perfect. Identical to "Braking" brand items! Worked great and despite fears of immediate warping, held up well to the abuse of several track days.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if Braking, Beringer, Spiegler, et al had their stuff produced in China.

PFM at the IoM did rotors for me (I sent them an original PFM as they no longer stocked them so needed a pattern) - must be some kind of iron as they rust. Charged £130 per rotor.

I purchased a set of identical-looking rotors from Spiegler in Germany some time back.
They have Spiegler (spelt correctly) SBT02 on them. Haven't run them yet as the Jota restoration isn't finished.
They look okay, but are much thinner than the originals. Don't let your brake pads wear down too far...
Personally, I think the Australian MetalGear rotors are the ones to go for, have had several sets.
They look original, work perfectly wet or dry.
