Hello all,
I have a new seat cover for the dual seat on my 750SF from a well known supplier. What successful ways have you all found to fasten it down? I was going to use a thin foam underlayment under it to take up some of the extra space and smooth out the final result. Then use some 3M spray glue to help hold down the flat center section so I can stretch the sides around the edges of the seat pan without pulling it too tight. then use some battens or something to clamp around the edges for glue? Any thoughts or experience to share?

If the old foam is no good or needs extra padding get foam especially made for seat upholstery. Looking at this seat I had recovered by a specialist, he used a high tack contact cement to glue the inner flaps to the base. I would use C clamps cushioned by strips of masonite on the outside edges to hold the glued flaps after applying the cement, and to protect the outer vinyl from the C clamps. Do one side and then slightly stretch the other side and repeat.
