Hello, I have a no spark situation and wondered if anyone has a link to a moto Witt wiring diagram? I’d like to test the pins on the connector for 12v, but don’t know which one! Also, is there perhaps an online fuse somewhere?

There's no need to look any further than our own library which has the same info -

You'll see that the DMC system needs 12v on the red lead to the multipin connector (terminal no. 8). Depending on how / where the DMC was stitched in to the existing loom (I use the supply from the ignition key via kill switch) you should also find 12v on the + side of the HT coils with ignition 'on' and kill switch in the 'run' position.

Equally important is the negative connection to the DMC box on the adjacent pin 16 (black wire on multipin connector) which should be connected to a good frame earth or preferably direct to battery negative terminal.

If you have + and - 12v to the DMC box then you can (assuming DMC2) put the microswitch (under black plastic bung) into the test fire position 0 as explained on p3 of the installation instructions.

Thanks so much! I was laid low yesterday with food poisoning, but I was planning on starting with the kill switch. It has been over 15 years since I started up this bike and I cannot recall what lights I should have illuminated on the instrument cluster. Currently, (see what I did there) I only have the indicator with the two back to back headlights lit when I turn the key. IIRC there should be more than that: oil pressure, charging?

For a standard RGS, just the neutral light will light up with ignition on... assuming you're in neutral of course. Doubtless for US spec, the lights also come on with the ignition hence the additional green 'lights on' lamp.

That's it. There are no oil pressure or charge warning lights.

I reckon martymoose has the most likely answer, depending on wiring arrangement. The other issue may be deterioration of the original factory pickup wiring insulation. It cracks and flakes off both at the pickup end and near the connector plug at the back of the crankcase. (I'm assuming you don't have the later DMC infra-red sensor arrangement).
