Non laverda fooling around with leather and lasers

I have been waiting for some bits to arrive for the Jota, and while doing so I have been playing around with my Norton Domiracer, amongst other things I have been drawing up new rear sets for it, but today I made a new tank strap in leather for it. I have pretty good laser at work for cutting and engraving titanium, and with a bit of mucking around I found it gives Good results on leather too, not sure if I posted the laverda logo I did in leather a while ago. the Norton logo is a bit small to read, but if you know the Norton logo, it’s pretty recognizable

That's just great! Laser-cutting is a great thing. Got my dashboard of the Jota laser-cut. Unfortunately, it has vibrated through now and I need to either weld- and beef it up a bit or replace it. The local shops take roughly 250 - 300€ though for lasering it out of 2mm flat stainless... Maybe worth trying to rescue it...
