Non laverda today’s ride

As my Laverda‘s aren’t in road going mode yet , this the ride we did on the 69 Triumph scrambler , stunning roads, several mountain passes , a good amount of riding in the clouds today, The coldest temps were 6 degrees, and the warmest 23 degrees on the flats. Tomorrow we will do it all again but go along the whole north eastern coast road to Cape Formentor on the Ducati This will add another 100 odd km of twisties. Kat had a great day on the back of the triumph. The body of water you see in the photo is the Gorg Blau, it is the main water reservoir for the island, the rest of Our fresh water comes from desalination plants in the north and south of the island. The water level is low for this time of the year in the reservoir.
Tried out a new set of Sena S3 intercoms, cheap and cheerful and low and I mean low profile control units, on the helmets, they worked a treat, worth a try if you only intend to talk to a pillion, all in 100 euros a set . You can link to a gps, or phone based gps etc, trying these out for the ride planned this august where I will take the MV home to the factory in Varese , if COVID allows .

Hopefully the link woks to show our route, it covers the almost all of the twisty roads you can get on the island

I have to say, riding Spain was the most enjoyable road riding I have done. Take some time off and head to the mainland Todd.

Oh, speaking of time off. Is a long weekend here, and here is muggins about to go to the airport and catch a flight for work :(

Now I understand where the weirdo message in Signal from someone called 'Me' came from!! It looked like a dodgy 'Hey, click on this groovy link and watch your phone data and bank account details disappear before your eyes'!!

I can still drain your bank account if you are feeling short changed 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Apart from the normal Mass tourism, Mallorca is a super beautiful island with a lot of nature.
I've been there many times for climbing and mountain biking.
In addition, I used to organize many conferences / meetings there, because every participant could fly cheaply to Mallorca from anywhere in Europe. Hotels were super cheap AND good, e.g. in Cala Fornels.

Nowadays people think a little differently about such short trips by plane.
We'll see how that develops in the future.

Hello Todd, I will be reminded of a wonderful two weeks Mallorca vacation in 2016. We lived in Port de Soller and rode the north-east route with rental motorbikes almost every day. What a great route with beautiful views - absolutely stunning and a pleasure to ride these small and often twisty roads! See my pic from Gorg Blau.
Ciao, Gert

Yeah Spain has amazing roads , I have spent a lot of time north west in Galicia , incredible roads and Amazing scenery

if I get to do the Italy trip august , it will be ferry from Mallorca to Toulon, then ride the Dragonaire ( excuse my spelling) valley road , to in behind Monaco, catch up with clients there, then head to Milan, to pick up the bride , Varese, then drop down to a mates place on Lake Garda for 10 days. Might even get to use the boat I bought there 3 years ago and haven’t seen!
