As my Laverda‘s aren’t in road going mode yet , this the ride we did on the 69 Triumph scrambler , stunning roads, several mountain passes , a good amount of riding in the clouds today, The coldest temps were 6 degrees, and the warmest 23 degrees on the flats. Tomorrow we will do it all again but go along the whole north eastern coast road to Cape Formentor on the Ducati This will add another 100 odd km of twisties. Kat had a great day on the back of the triumph. The body of water you see in the photo is the Gorg Blau, it is the main water reservoir for the island, the rest of Our fresh water comes from desalination plants in the north and south of the island. The water level is low for this time of the year in the reservoir.
Tried out a new set of Sena S3 intercoms, cheap and cheerful and low and I mean low profile control units, on the helmets, they worked a treat, worth a try if you only intend to talk to a pillion, all in 100 euros a set . You can link to a gps, or phone based gps etc, trying these out for the ride planned this august where I will take the MV home to the factory in Varese , if COVID allows .
Hopefully the link woks to show our route, it covers the almost all of the twisty roads you can get on the island
