NZ 3C

FNQ1000

Hero member
3C and not included in the Laverdamania registry. Pricing seems optimistic, good luck to the seller.

$30,000 NZD/?14,700 for that lash up?
What is he smoking?
Raask bars, tank not even located in the front rubber mounts, butchered seat to fit, TS sidepanels, even the replacement seat isn't a 3C seat.

The 3C became the 3CE.
The term Jota came along when they fitted the same kit to a 3CL.

Maybe that's what passes for aesthetically pleasing in NZ? What are those screws in the primary case? Are they just csk screws or something else?

god if you think thats rough, you should see the majority of our women...

This is just horrible, I don't usually comment re aesthetics or rivet counting and this bike appears pretty tidy but why collect all the ugly bits from every Laverda triple model and plant them randomly on a usually pure and stunning 3C. I don't get it at all.

the screws in the primary case point to a much later, as in RGS cover, which it isn't, lots of potential though, the core may be as stated and unopened, but double dear, even at half the price? not sure.

My guess is , someone kept this bike in the garage a while. And it seems they have given it a birthday of sorts to try and get it going to sell.  Import duties and shipping to NZ is not cheap , so there probably isn?t that many parts kicking about, and the kiwi way is to make what you can get to fit. We aren?t that sophisticated, and unless you are really into bikes , you may think it?s ok.  On top of that who ever is selling it has probably looked at misguided prices Of other bikes online , and they have decided, I will have a bit of that.  You can see the comments on the page that people have made a few scathing comments , and they took no notice, it seems they think they have something worth more than it is in the eyes of what  you guys see that it is ?

Those aren?t excuses for us kiwis , but it looks to me that my comments above are probably close to the money.

Just countersunk socket heads, did that decades ago with my 3C to avoid breaking/scathing my fingers while cleaning and polishing.
