Odd front mounts?

Hi ..
These are my front mounts..countetsunk centers with small threaded holes..any ideas what might have been thier purpose apart from holding the front engine? Lower fairing mounts? No other sign of fairing hardware. Not the only "custom " parts fitted.

Big guess, Hyway pegs or Ogris. The later are nylon crash nobs to reduce damage in yep a crash. My full fairing had the lower mounted of these plates.

not very well made, note the lopped off outer corners, steel plate is best in this location if you ask me, stock is best.

Paul are you able to get stuff from Canada? I can't, don't know when it will open up. Maybe I should have Wolfgang send stuff to you then you send it to me. I've got $10 worth of little busy items coming one day, shouldn't cost more than $40 shipping doing the 3-way swap  :D

Haha  I like your sense of humour.. sadly still no international post.. when you do your calculation dont forget add the cost of post to the value of the goods ..22% of that duty payable here .then @ $30 back to the states + your import duty.
Might be cheaper to go visit Wolfgang and bring your bits back duty free.
On the bright side when I send something off island for repairs there is no duty free coming back provided oit has customs cert on departure.
 
As far as I know I thought all good were moving between Canada and US and vice versa by post and courier.. Service a bit slower based on  huge increase in volumes from Amazon etc.
 
We have DHL running more or less normally ,but they on!y offer an express sevice..got a quote for two camshaft s and buckets..  5lbs. Cayman to Canada USD 68.  Crankshaft  45lbs  USD 683.
Anticipating regular  international postal service returning soon.  ???

No import duty on this kind of stuff coming into the USA .
