Older than Us.

Vince,

Hand-change, foot-clutch, lever-throttle all add up to a challenging yet rewarding experience. Realising how quick these beasts can be hammers home the skill/determination required to manouver them through bustling cities or over long distances on crappy roads back then.

I had the opportunity to try out a pre-war H-D Knucklehead, was quite surprised how refined it was.

Thundering along at 160+kmh creates quite some respect. ;)

Looking forward to getting my 1928 Rovin on the road. It'll be a lot more sedate than the Vindian.

My WLA ride was in a huge empty parking area and I was so happy it was empty with no traffic. That bike ran a suicide clutch, that's fully sprung loaded so that meant you couldn't put your left foot down while it was engaged. It was so much fun having to constantly think about what to do next, we all ride using muscle memory after decades, and this made me smile heaps.
