Piet wants a cam chain for a 500 and thinks it is 116 link.

Is this a Zane as I thought they were 112 or 114 links of the special stuff. I know others use 88 dup and 102 simplex so I am learning.

Ta lads

(Since no-one else has piped up ..)

For a 500, Andy?  Not a Zan?, then - 650/668/750.  Must be for one of the Breganze fore-runners on which the Zan?s were based - Alpino, Montjuic.

Sorry, can't confirm number of links.  But I bet Bob knows ...  :)

Ciao

In that case I would need to know even the type of chain, duplex, simplex  or the Regina with the wire clip.

I will get the knowledge one day :D :D :D :D :D

The 500 uses a 112 links, the later Zanes machines use 114, not sure about the earlier ones.. The strange split link thingymabob is the same. Are we talking about the same Piet here? Piet is a walking encyclopedia for Laverda technical stuff....I can't imagine he doesn't know the answer to this  Perhaps his organic hard drive is finally full!

:D :D :D Blimey Drikko, you had me thinking about that one.....maybe you say it differently down under but up here it's definitely thingymabob
