South of Nassau - had a very nice run home yesterday from the Laverda Heftrich meeting. Way to was quite wet though ...

another great image (y)(y)(y). What was used to capture this image, and don't say a camera.

Indeed! Would also like to know how you did it!

What was used to take the image...

someone put a video on youtube from the event this weekend, where you can see me driving past on my orange Triple #126, here at about 0:55

You can see the setup there: I mounted an aluminium plate on silentblocks in front of the fairing to dampen the vibrations for the camera (it was not so effective as I wanted). The camera you can see there and I used for the image is a Gopro 9.

The essential settings of the camera were: Video with fixed shutter speed of 1/200 seconds to get the "speed lines". Because of that relative long exposure the video would have been overexposed. So I used a ND filter to get the correct exposure.

The image is a screenshot from the captured video.

Finally the image was adjusted in Adobe Lightroom to get the wanted balance of dark and bright areas and so on, and also to create that more raw look (which I try to avoid most times, because I think it is easily overused, but which fits here quite good I think).

That is the story behind the image
