Paint Code SILVER 1986 Jota 180

Hi everyone. I'm sorry if this has been asked a thousand times (and I'm thinking there may not be a definitive answer), but.... any ideas on the 'right' silver for an '86 180 Jota?

I'm assuming you mean 1976, not 1986.

I'm dyslexic and no mater how many times I check things there's usually a mistake.
Thanks for the link - I'm about to put my orange Jota back to the original silver.
Appreciate your photo too. Am I in a minority preferring silver to orange, I wonder?

We might be in an elite minority - i've lost count of the times people have come up to me and said shouldn't that be orange?

It would be interesting to know how many 76/77 silver ones are still out there.

Standard seat, no grabrail - original spec

Nice bike - Seat is an aftermarket replacement item , its a personal choice but when you get it back to silver it should have a dual 'letterbox ' seat for MY 76/77...enjoy.

That’s not the correct “letterbox” seat for your Jota. Looks like a seat for a 1200/Jota 120 with a pattern cover. Nice but not correct.

dang!!! Oh well, at least it's preferable to the hump seat. I forgot I'd bought this years ago. I'll keep looking for the right one...

Yep, in Mount Barker South Australia (my home state) and the mould he originally took to make Jota seat covers was off my brother’s silver Jota, so that would be the wheel going full circle…
