Pair of Voxbells!

Cheers all...
Mdina cost is plus VAT and deliv of course..., my current pair both failed within a few weeks of each other...., Ive had them in bits but not repairable sadly

I just have to say I have resurrected mine 3 or 4 times, courtesy of a leasion from my friend Cam in Tassie. It was an annual event before I learned about the 2 drain holes that need to have one on the bottom or they fill up with water and rust internally. Both mine have the rivets replaced with nuts and bolts, I give the internal points a rub with wet and dry with them apart and adjust the exteranl Philips head screw slowly while holding the button down till it sounds. I start with the screw in pretty tight and slowly wind it out with the horn button pressed. Always a thrill when you save them again for another year.

Unlikely, Paul.
Though many of us are more than happy to support the suppliers who go out of their way to help Laverda Owners.
Paddy is most definitely one of those!
If we had wanted cheap, we wouldn't have bought a Laverda in the first place.
I'm reminded of the Oscar Wilde quote:
"What is a cynic?
A man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Well Hamish, don't be mistaken.
Concerning Paddy, I've bought plenty from him in the past. He refurbished my SFC calipers when the bike was burnt. I've generally had excellent service from him.
When I bought my Voxbells, I didn't think about looking Paddy's way, I associate him with carb parts which I'm now obliged to buy on the continent for reasons you know.
I shop around looking for the best deal, which I don't necessarily find.

Concerning buying a Laverda, they weren't always substantially more expensive than the "opposition"; that was certainly the case when the 7560 Laverda was produced and Laverda were winning world class races.

When you or I bought our triples, they were expensive but I think that by that time, the financial noose was around Laverda's neck.
The "Lamborghini of motorcycles" was a sales gimmick to help justify and swallow the price.
I sincerely hope that the quality of engineering at Lamborghini was superior to that of Laverda, because let's not kid ourselves, it takes more than price to make a luxury product.
