Peened oil pump screws

Next...the four screw heads on the oil pump have been peened at the slots.  Any advice before I mangle sonething. I have a hammer driven impact driver, small and large rattle gun..plus nice fitting screwdriver standing by.

Take the screwdriver and a little(!) hammer to push the peenings in the oil pump casing back, then just unbolt.  If you intend to reuse the pump, check the bottom section, just that palce where tooth tips of lower gear are running, they housings are often scuffed and pretty worn out at that location.

Just un peen and unscrew.
When you rebuild, peening will be done elsewhere since the screws will have a different position anyway.
