Peter Padgett RIP

Peter has passed away at the grand old age of 94. Founder of Padgett’s of Batley with his brother Don (who died a few years ago) he will be fondly remembered by many a racer, both the ones who raced for Padgetts - including Hailwood, Ivy, Read, Haslam, Fogarty, ‘McPint’, Anstey and more recently, ‘Conrod’ Cummins and Davey Todd - and the ones like me who just relied on them for spare parts to keep our bikes running.

That's sad news. Padgett's has been running such a TT stalwart, and hopefully Clive Padgett will be continuing to maintain the family's tradition of running a TT race team for years to come.
