77 Jota, managed to get the bashed about alloy cover of the petrol filler cap. Before I employ my feeble metalwork skills does anyone sell a stronger top cover, just the cover not the whole flip cap. Richard

You'll likely have to purchase the whole cap.
I think you can find them chrome or stainless, with or without lock and key.
And all for a few bob.

Paul, a few bob is about right ……
I have christened my bike the “hundred pound bike“ as everything costs £100. New cap £100, new air filter £100, carb rebuild kit £100, clutch cable, a few gaskets, front light re-silvered and so it goes on. It’s a good job I am filthy rich.

Shop around a bit. ;)
Of course living in the UK is a distinct disadvantage, unless you run a BSA Bantam ( and even then, parts likely come from India)
