Petrol tank in carbon fibre.

Im looking for a used, or problematic jota style petrol tank in carbon fibre.
I " dont" want to get into the politics and i do understand.

The current steel tank with cap and both taps weighs 5200 grammes.

Id really like to know what a CF tank weighs with or without an epoxy liner. No guesswork please, its worse than no info.

Perhaps someone who has a tank that is currently an ornament, feel free to pm me.

Tank on my Motodd weights 2kg with cap and taps. No liner, not needed with epoxy. 3 layers of carbon 1 layer of kevlar

The CF sidesover I got off Red after mine got run over feels like it weighs the same as a piece of A4 paper and is about the same thickness. It's hard to believe how good it is. It's so thin it's close to transparent.

My CF/Kevlar SFC replica tank would easily be 1/4 that of a fibreglass jobbie.

Moot point though cause it’s not a triple/Jota type tank your after the weight of.
