
I tried harder on that one.I remember trying to see how fast you could go with no helmet or goggles just to find out if those ton up tales from the sixties were true, so back when you didn't need to wear a helmet in Italy I took my 3C out on the Autostrada and found the answer. You can see sod all above 100 mph and not very much above 80 either and everything that hits you in the face hurts like hell. I suppose that should have been obvious really.

However, I do question the sanity of the two riders even if I have a bit of sneaking admiration for the size of their balls.

I touched the tarmac with my knee once, wearing a jeans. Jeans was OK but my skin was burnedme too, but knee protectors should have been a must
