At one point I had around 15, but only POP left.
They are demanding bikes and don't appreciate being left in the garage.

Too true...

The battle against the fuck up fairies is never-ending.  What a pity we only have one arse each! :D

New filter screen base, new o-ring, nipped up the nuts to 10Nm...done.  While I'm at it, I figure, I'll change the square gasket for the cam chain protector.  Put oil back in...now it leaks from that square gasket which was fine before I messed with it.

Some DPO fixes are a case of have to.

Like the time my front brake lever fell off the 79 Jota, at serious speed, in the middle of nowhere. I searched for ages to find the lever, way back down the road, with the help of a Ducati rider that pulled up, he said "that's what happens when you ride a bike with character"

I had to borrow a set screw, threaded all the way to the head, from the back mudguard, to give me some brakes. It got me home.

Next owner probably saw the chewed out hole in the lever and called me a DPO .... little did he know the circumstances behind it.
