The big problem is that I`m from Romania and here I can`t find nothing for my Laverda.

I have a Laverda Strike 1999 750 cmc and my starter motor broke and I don`t know what can I do.
Please help me to find a new or secound starter motor .

Hi and welcome,

1.  Have you tried to get the motor repaired?  Electric motors are very simple and can normally be repaired.  But you need to take it to someone who works on vehicles.

2.  If you must buy a new motor, contact OCT in Germany. E-mail octeam@gmx.de (write in English if you don't know any German).

3.  There is a second-hand one for sale on eBay now.  Go

but it is quite expensive and may need to be over-hauled.

Good!

It is also the same starter motor that was used on Ducatis from the same period.  BUT, because Laverda engines turn in the opposite direction, you need to replace the plate that holds the brushes in the Ducati motor with the plate from the Laverda motor.
