Positioning new horn

EVERYONE Andy, even you.
The rack was off the Corsa, it fits but still needs some finessing.

don't fit that, just don't.

The only time I ever use my horns is when at the MOT test station.
CLEM

Exactly. Horns aren't much use in real life. I'd rather take evasive action than beep the horn and hope someone else does. Loud horns are fun for scaring dozy pedestrians or scattering sheep in paddocks though.  :D

Actually, I quite like that CLEAR fly screen of yours, Grant, and wouldn't mind one on *1588*.. something slightly T3 Cal about it.  As for the horn on Chertozz's (I think) bike: might not be the prettiest but I'd rather have a LOUD horn rather than something which simply looks nice... You never know when you'll need it but when you do you'll be grateful it works and is loud (that's the point of them isn't it  ???)

What?  You prefer that screen off a Honda Benly to the Buell one?  You need to get to Specsavers and pronto mate! :D

Look at it side one - sleeker than a freshly greased otter!

I was just in Macquarie st Sydney, the place where traffic is absolutely nuts. I was behind a very green L plater on a bike who came close to being sideswiped by a blind imbacil who didnt like being behind a bus and without looking made his move for where the bike was. The L plater dodged him and hit his weady horn. I passed him, L plater waiting at the next light and made a comment about blind idiots and gave the blind bloke the withering stare. Either seems to think much of it.

Had a woman do exactly the same thing to me in the city the other day. I was on the Guzzi when she decided she wanted to be in the lane that I was in, and suddenly changed lanes without looking. I had to swerve and brake to avoid her. I stopped beside her at the next lights. Her window was down so I leaned over and politely suggested that it's a good idea to look and indicate before changing lanes. She didn't even acknowledge me. Just stared straight ahead and wound the window up.
