Possible scammer

I was trying to purchase some pillion footrests from this guy but the 2 links on PayPal were rejected as possible scam.
Does anyone know of this member?
 
I got a PM about my asking for a Smith speedometer cable -since my bike is built from parts I wanted to be sure it was correct so I asked for the length and photo's of the connection parts to make sure it would fit and have not heard since.

Which I found odd since I got 2-3 mails in the first few days in fairly quick succession prior to my question. I always assume someone has a life outside of mailboxes and forums, but I find it odd correspondence suddenly stopped and it I admit it triggered a few thoughts related to my day job involving phishers and scammers... Guess my thought's weren't that far off?
 
I had a scammer contact me when I was asking for a SF1 rear light unit. I suspect that any wanted post may attract scammers. Its such a low value target but the Cambodia/Laos/Burma scam compound industry is a multi billion $ organisation with government capture so they are everywhere. Not worth being mean to the scammers as they are likely being held against their will and have to make quota. The whole thing is pretty depressing.

Most enlightening. Not just Nigeria, Russia, Iran etc. Wouldn't expect education in English up to snuff in Cambodia!

AI allows even North Koreans to pose as remote tech/IT workers an get hired, so language and visual barriers are fast disappearing... Japan used to be pretty immune to ransomware gangs too, but no more...

There are shady AI solutions out there without the guardrails regular AI bots have like ChatGPT or even Grok.
