Programmable ignition for SF

I?m looking at an IgniTech ignition for the SF2 racebike to get away from fixed advance and take advantage of modern tech.
Does anyone have experience with their products, ideally on Lav twins. They are popular and very highly rated in the classic racing mob here.
Alternatively what other fully programmable ignitions are others using and can recommend for twins?
I need to set the full advance range because of the compression I run, so doubt curve selection is an option.

Hi Tippie,

I am running my own Ignitech implementation on my racing SFC since 2007, and have since also developed systems which are doing well on the OzLaverda Spaceframe and 500.  They have all worked flawlessly in numerous race meetings and allow perfect adjustability for the racer or road rider alike.  I intend to market these systems as another option for those looking for different features than the existing Sachse or DMC options.  In time I will have details on my Breganzane site, but in the mean time PM me for more info if you're interested.
Here's an example of how well it works:

yep - many use the Ignitech already, have more though who run them on the triples than on the 750.

curves can be combined with static timing changes on the DMC/Sachse, which widens their abilities to almost anything you need. But for sure the Ignitech is the most flexible one, but needs some knowledge as they typically come without any curve programed.

Tippie,

Very good results with an Ignitech on a mates' Beemer racer.  Lashed up a rotor from a MkII Laverda triple and an old Laverda/Bosch pick-up.  The 1-channel wasted spark system has enough punch to power 2 double coils for twin plugs, easy to set up and use.  Extremely frugal on power, runs on constant-loss, only a 5Ah battery needed for 3 hours of high-speed running.  Highly recommendable!

I've installed Ignitech on a Ducati twin and a Laverda triple. Bloody good product, works well and has fantastic flexibility of programming. Cheap too. I'm tempted to replace the Moto Witt on my Jota with an Ignitech.

Cheers,
