Putting Engine Back In

Re-assembling my RGS1000SFC.  Which side of the frame should I slide the motor in?  My plan is to lie the frame on it's side and over the motor lying on the floor.  BTW, this is a solo operation.

RG- bikes have plenty of space, can go in either way very easily.

Do you recommend attaching the engine mounts to the motor before dropping the frame over the top, or putting them on after the engine is in the 'hole'?

I'm not a mechanic, but to me it seems you need to get it in the hole first.

All mounts off, but have the rear upper and lower rear brackets fitted to the crankcases.

Consider placing the primary side on a stable support 5" high-you'll find it easier to fit the frame around the motor.
