Quick fuel question

From idle to 1/4 throttle if one header is running hotter than the others, does that mean it is running leaner? Need a quick response....regards Greg

Perhaps you could have a look at the spark plugs and see if there is any indication of mixture there. It may not be a reliable approach depending on time spent at other throttle openings, fuel etc.

I believe that you can get non-contact imaging thermometers that interface to your phone, could be a way of confirming actual temperatures.

It might also mean the carbs are out of balance (slide heights etc) and one cylinder is working harder than the others...

Fair to assume it has more than two cylinders. Unless it is a V6 (which I doubt) and assuming it is a Laverda, pretty sure it is a triple.
