I think it is a nice looking triple and the brown seat gives it a classic look unlike all those CB Hondas with flat bars, cut down mudguards, brown seats, and bandaged exhausts that Hipsters call 'Classic Cafe', give me a break.
Yes the owner of this nice looking triple is a well known respected Laverda builder that is a member of this site.

This is Scott Potter's bike from several years back. IIRC it started life as a USA spec. 1200 Mirage. Scott loaned me the bike for a few days while I was visiting in Texas and it worked wonderfully. Unfortunately the bike was totalled in a traffic accident and is no longer with us. Scott was also in bad shape but has recovered. OK, tzhe color combo looks wierd in pictures but I admit looking at the bike in the flesh it was actually quite pretty. Nice to see something other than orange...

This was also a poster bike for one of the Harvest Classic Rallys held in Luekenbach, Texas (2012?). The rally collects donations for childrens cancer and has been very succesfull over the years. An interesting story in its own right.

Tom, I recently heard from Scott and he is slowly repairing the bike, he has already straightened the frame and is sourcing parts. Dave
