Re Voltage Regulator mounting Sf Gt

This frame does not use a strap for Voltage Regs. Early Gt. The only holes I have to mount it are part of the frame. Nothing for strap on the sides. Bought a new strap a yr ago by accident. This has the grommets between brass bushings only. Ok so no danger of arching or electrical shorting? All I need to be sure of is a flexible mount similar to the old one? My only worry is frying it!

Mounted mine on Zane fairing bobbins,think it may have been a Rob suggestion.

Yes, you're right. They're rigidly mounted on the early ones.
As LJ suggests, there's space to put a couple of bobbins underneath. Did that on my SFC as well.
