After long considerations and heavy hearted, I am offering my original 2000 Modell Laverda 750 S Formula. It is a great running, well sorted and looked after bike and I am sure I will regret it. However, I am far to heavy for it and it needs to be used more on the road.
I purchased it in 2007 I think to remember from OCT with 2 previous owners, one was Stein-Dinse, the then importer. This very bike was featured in several local magazines as it was the first year 2000 model coming to Germany (VIN 1602). According to my researches, there are only about 40 bikes ever produced in that specific configuration with Type 3 Crank, 2000 Cams (95HP and 92 or so Nm) and the oh-so-rare 5-spoke rims.
Modifications to the crank bearings and valve seats etc. have been made before I purchased it. Other modifications were minimal and only to improve starting performance (thicker cables for the starting circuit, 4-brush plate for the starter, different starter gearing). 3 Years ago, it received a decent inspection from OCT with new tires, overhaul of the front fork etc.. It has only done roughly 300km ever since.
It is in very good running condition but not 100% spotless as you can guess from a 22 years old bike.
Open to serious offers that consider the great running condition and the extremly limited number of these bikes via PN, please.
