Rear fairing supports, Jota 180 and Jota 120

Are the fairing supports the same?
I am trying to put an early Jota fairing ( curved)
on a 1200 mirage 1978.
I have 120 fairing rear brackets and they don't clear the undersides of the petrol tank.
Do both brackets 120-180start and finish at the same place but their length or depth is slightly different?
 
The 1980 style rounded rear fairing brackets fitted to the same fasteners as the coil resistors. They dropped vertically down with a small kink to clear the frame tube before a ~90 degree bend to bring the bracket out, just clearing the bottom of the tank.

If you have the 1200 tank it is a different shape to the more rounded 1000. Not sure if its sides are deeper.

I also suspect the brackets are not the same. I think the 120 fairing wings sit a bit closer to the tank.

I have attached the later bkts to the frame and they dont look too far off the fairing mounting
I'll try adapting the depth of my to be manufactured parts, and take it from there.
