Recreating Laverda 750 GT high bars

As you're probably aware, it's nigh on impossible to get hold of the 750 GT high 'touring' handlebars with the curved brace. Wolfgang doesn't have them to hand, Andy is out of stock, and they rarely if ever show up on eBay, etc.

So, I made an enquiry with Armour Motor Products here in the UK who said they could replicate them if I could provide measurements. I don't have a pair to measure but wondered if one of you might - and could help me get this mini-project off the ground?

At least this way they would become available for anyone else who might need a pair down the line.

Pic of the bars for clarity:

Is this the version you're looking for dimensions from?

I have a couple of bikes in the boneyard that have this I think as original equipment plus this loose set: about 32 inches width and about 8 inches rise, holes for wiring at lower centre and for starter switch mounting. Cross bar is curved in horizontal plane when mounted.

If this is the right style, please advise exactly which dimensions and angles are need to replicate - I'm home for very short time now but then back home after Baskerville.

Thanks for pictures. To be honest, I don’t know what the originals look like. One is GTL, and the bars were changed out for lower ones some 40 odd years ago and I no longer have the originals. I’m not fussed about being exactly OE, I just want a higher set of bars to match my sedate riding these days. I’m in UK, so would prefer UK supply if possible.

The handlebar arancia posted is the correct GT item, with holes for wiring and starter button.

Very happy with the SR500 type bars on my GTL, not quite as high as the GT bars.

If the bars are the same as the ones on American Eagle 750's, I tossed two pairs in to the bin years ago. They were replace by much lower bars. The bike is impossible to ride at speed with tall bars.

It was a typical US market thing these high bars. Many sports bikes like the 2 stroke Yamahas and Kawasakis at the time had those too, making them look rather silly. Here in Europe they came with more appropriate low, or almost straight bars.
