Rectangular cover under sump ?

I’ve just cleaned out the oil strainer on the underside of my Jota 180. Before I refit the exhaust I thought I’d better ask what the other small rectangular cover is underneath (see pic) incase I need to be in there too

Cam chain pedestal.
Absolutely no need to remove it until you drop something down the cam chain tunnel

If/when you do, make sure you put it back the correct way round.
