"Remove Before Flight" LAVERDA keychain

I got mine in the UK Sami, thanks a lot, shame I have to wait until April to use them in anger! Our local Council love to throw salt around our fine roads. They allow me to retire the rusty old keyrings I have been using, thanks again.

And I thought ?Remove Before Flight?  was commonly used tag with these type of keychains.

Anyway, Laverda keychain should be in stock by the end of week.

Boarded a plane on Sunday, just before being pushed back, a bloke came out from under the plane, holding up for the pilot to see a long tag thing like the key rings Cape has here. Presumably it read, remove before flight.

But me, being untrustworthy, thought he?d just pinched the key from someones Laverda.

Have a similar thing on submarines 'Remove before diving' :D
Personally can't see myself having one of those tags on my key, should read 'Insert before ride' but each to their own.
Also, have no intention of voluntarily flying the Yellow Peril.

Timely ....

Mud wasps do the same thing, they?re bad around Amberley/Ipswich Qld this time of year, if you get my drift.

Yeah, there was an Air Crash Investigations episode about that happening too. Boeing aircraft crashed after it had been parked on the tarmac in the Dominican Republic with the pitot tubes uncovered. Mud dauber wasps had built a home in a tube. That's one of the reasons they're supposed to be covered when the plane is parked. The little buggers can build a nest in 30 mins.

It actually happens quite often, but usually the crew will notice the air speed anomaly on the runway and abort the take-off.
