You could, it's possible with caution, if the head is hot enough they'll slide right out but early on before I understood it must be HOT I broke off more than one 6mm bolt using a slide hammer and the special tool bought from Slater and with a tube spacer - heat is your friend in this case.
 
Why not use a home-built extractor like mentioned in
your other thread?
I think you'll be surprised how good and smooth it works.
Never had a 6mm bolt break....
