I looked really hard on the body of the niisin master cylinder for a number, Nuthin.....
Probably because Yamaha have a large manufacturing/assembly facility in Italy, which was originally established to detour import restrictions. Locally made/assembled bikes would still need to include a certain percentage of locally produced parts to avoid certain taxes, so why not outright buy the mob that makes those parts for you? I think Brembo was at the time already part of the Kelsey-Hayes corporation. True capitalistic wheelin'-dealin'!A motobrakeopoly?
Makes me wonder if Kawasaki have in interest in Nissin brakes. They seem to use them exclusively on their modern models.
A german vendor that doesn't post to Germany? Very strange...This one looks the same.

Ah! This I did not know ... 'Live and Learn'.Yes, Yamaha had (have?) a sizeable stake in Brembo. Probably large enough to dictate specials for themselves.

The entire motor industry is criss-crossed with connections and interests, it's quite astounding Craig. Hardly any company belongs to itself any more, lots of others have their greedy claws on profits and dividends.Ah! This I did not know ... 'Live and Learn'.
