Inner bearings there is a Bushing that holds the Disc on the Sprocket Plate. Opposite side you can see the outer bearing. Inside bearing is not visible. Can you tap out that bushing w/ a hammer? Or is this for a Press. & then can it be tapped back in or do you use a Press?

Not quite sure what you mean, Evan. Both left and right hub bearings can be tapped out with a hammer and suitable drift (a bit of heat on the hub always helps). Same deal with the sprocket carrier/cush drive hub. Inner sleeve comes out (that the big nut screws onto) and the two bearings tap out.

Replacement; a little heat and tap them in - don't forget the spacers inside!

Heres pics. Does this bushing have to come out w/ a press in order to replace the inner bearings? .Or can it be tapped out w/ hammer

Ok thanks I tend to make things more difficult so best to get advice. May get back when putting new ones on...

No tapping required. Doing it this way will remove a little bit of aluminum and you will one day be back on the forum asking about using Loctite to glue the bearing in.

Heat it up until the bearings fall out.

My SF1 LH rear wheel bearing fell out of its own accord - never been replaced so no alu missing - the soft hub casting simply flared with much use. I had a steel ring made, machined the hub outer and with heat, pressed it over - bearing never fell out again.
