Anyone know, what could it be? I was driving my 500s and suddenly counter fails down. The cable looks OK.

We're talking tacho here... either it is the tacho itself, the inner cable or the drive ff the motor (not too sure where they are on the 500 but assuming similar to triples?).

The worm gear drive unit on the front wheel is known for eating itself from time to time, check that too.

The tacho runs off the front wheel on 500's ?  ???

Yup, with electronic tacho...  Have not had tank off yet so not too familiar with any of it.
