Rev Limiter

There is a limiter on a Witt, 8250 rpm if memory serves, on a DMC2. It is as far as I'm aware set in the software and not "user" adjustable.

There's certainly one on my Reax/Sachse system installed by Keith on my Jota...hit it again a couple of times yesterday Keith, while out with mate on a Ducati Paul Smart rep...he was very  surprised as I headed north of 120 easily ...not so much with the speed as with NO SMOKE ,hurrah! He swallowed enough last year following back to Bighty from Santander...

If it is a DMC2 (bronce cover), you can send the unit to Uwe Witt for getting a different rev Limiter set. Costs something like 150? me thinks.

8800rpm actually, but Mr.Witt can programm any other limiter to customer specs.  Usually FOC!

Cam,

While the Ignitech solution is a Godsend to those that know what they're doing, it can be disatrous for somebody not realising the needs of a 4-stroke combustion engine!!
